Naganen sunde iru dake atte, michi ni kuwashii desu.

Having lived here for years, they know the streets well.

The first term earns the praise; the second is what it deserves

だけに とは違(ちが)い、悪(わる)い結果(けっか)は取(と)れません。

Dake ni to wa chigai, warui kekka wa toremasen.

Unlike だけに, it cannot take a bad outcome.

プロだけあって下手だ fails; プロだけに期待が大きい works
