春(はる)とはいえ、まだ肌寒(はださむ)いです。

Haru to wa ie, mada hadazamui desu.

Spring though it is, there is still a chill.

とはいえ concedes then turns, more formal than でも

経験(けいけん)があるとはいえ、油断(ゆだん)はできません。

Keiken ga aru to wa ie, yudan wa dekimasen.

Experienced though I am, I cannot be careless.
