数量詞 + だけ

りんごを 一(ひと)つだけ 買(か)いました。

Ringo o hitotsu dake kaimashita.

I bought only one apple.

だけ attaches straight to the counter, no particle needed

十分(じゅうぶん)だけ 待(ま)って ください。

Juppun dake matte kudasai.

Please wait just ten minutes.

だけ carries a reassuring "no more than this"

一(いち)人(にん)だけ 来(き)ませんでした。

Hitori dake kimasen deshita.

Only one person did not come.

With a negative, だけ limits the part that did NOT happen
