ちょっと風邪(かぜ)気味(ぎみ)です。

Chotto kazegimi desu.

I am coming down with something.

気味 is a slight touch of something, and almost only of bad things

電車(でんしゃ)が遅(おく)れ気味(ぎみ)です。

Densha ga okuregimi desu.

The trains are running a little late.

On a verb stem it says slightly tending that way

少(すこ)し太(ふと)り気味(ぎみ)なので、運動(うんどう)しています。

Sukoshi futorigimi na node, undō shite imasu.

I have put on a little, so I am exercising.

About yourself it is gentler than saying it flat out
