Mizu o dashippanashi ni shinaide.

Do not leave the water running.

The other sense is left unattended, and it blames

まま とは違い、必ず否定的です。

Mama to wa chigai, kanarazu hiteiteki desu.

Unlike まま, it is always negative.

まま can be neutral; っぱなし cannot
