Nido to ano mise ni wa iku mai.

I shall never go to that shop again.

まい is a negative volition — the literary ないつもりだ

雨は降るまいと思っていました。

Ame wa furu mai to omotte imashita.

I did not think it would rain.

The second sense is a negative guess, equal to ないだろう

Genpyō de wa yuki jirushi ga tsuite imasu.
