〜だの〜だの

高いだのまずいだの、文句ばかりです。

Takai da no mazui da no, monku bakari desu.

Too expensive, no good — nothing but complaints.

だの〜だの almost only lists complaints, with visible impatience

行くだの行かないだの、はっきりしません。

Iku da no ikanai da no, hakkiri shimasen.

Going, not going — they will not make up their mind.

With opposites it points at someones wavering

やら より話し手の不満が強く出ます。

Yara yori hanashite no fuman ga tsuyoku demasu.

The speakers irritation shows more than with やら.

やら is a scene in disarray; だの is a person being tiresome
