だに is an archaic even, joining a very small set of verbs

微動(びどう)だにしませんでした。

Bidō dani shimasen deshita.

He did not stir in the slightest.

微動だにしない is a fixed phrase you do hear

生(い)きているのは決(き)まり文句(もんく)だけです。

Ikite iru no wa kimari monku dake desu.

Only the set phrases are still alive.
