その言い方(いいかた)は子供(こども)っぽいですよ。

っぽい means like it but not it, and is nearly always unflattering

最近(さいきん)、忘(わす)れっぽくなりました。

Saikin, wasureppoku narimashita.

I have become forgetful lately.

On a verb stem it means this keeps happening

この色(いろ)、ちょっと安(やす)っぽいですね。

Kono iro, chotto yasuppoi desu ne.
