〜わけがない

彼(かれ)が知(し)っているわけがない。

Kare ga shitte iru wake ga nai.

There is no way he knows.

わけがない flatly rules the possibility out, far stronger than ないでしょう

こんな話(はなし)、本当(ほんとう)のわけがない。

Konna hanashi, hontō no wake ga nai.

A story like that cannot possibly be true.

A noun takes の and a na-adjective takes な

一(いち)日(にち)で終(お)わるわけがないでしょう。

Ichinichi de owaru wake ga nai deshō.

There is no way it finishes in a day.

Adding でしょう asks for agreement while keeping the force
