Kare wa umare nagara ni shite sainō ga arimashita.

He had talent from birth.

ながらに holds a state; 生まれながらに is by far the commonest pairing

涙(なみだ)ながらに事情(じじょう)を話(はな)しました。

Namida nagara ni jijō o hanashimashita.

She told the story in tears.

涙ながらに is another fixed pairing, common in reporting

自由(じゆう)な組み合(くみあ)わせはほとんどありません。

Jiyū na kumiawase wa hotondo arimasen.

Free combinations are almost nonexistent.
